Hi Gordon,
I hope you are good. Thank you Gordon. Do you know a Ron Forks? He
was in the E/B in Western Australia.

Dear Malcolm,
Good to hear from you again. We are as well as can be expected, both being 74 this year and feeling the infirmities of age. But we prove His support.
No, I don't know the Ron Forks you mention. Except for some guests, like yourself, on MB we haven't had contact with any brethren from Australia since 1970.
In our Lord, Gordon.
To: Jean-Claude Lafforgue
Dear Jean-Claude,
Unfortunately, in the past there have been some who only email out of
mere curiosity, or to make charges against MB.
No, I don't live in the USA or UK, but in Toronto, Canada. Other
details as to me may be found on the Personal page.
I'm sure that many guests – as myself – would appreciate some details as to you personally, and I do hope you will visit and write again.
In the Lord, Gordon.
To: Garry Lay
Dear Garry, Sorry, I can't help re your inquiry as to "a new Exclusive assembly
recently established in Invercargill" but perhaps some of our guests
from New Zealand can.
You are welcome at "My Brethren" any time.
Yours in the Lord, Gordon.
Dear Gordon,
More than "brethren" historical stuff, I am anxious to know that my readers are not only interested in Church History but in "His-story" :-) since the articles in "Context" were the original motivations for the site.
For His glory alone, Leonard.
Note: Leonard states "I am now amongst the so-called re-united brethren" – a group well known to be united in opposition to Mr. F. E. Raven and other honoured servants.
To: Leonard Layne
Dear Leonard,
Yes, the biography of JBS is particularly interesting – and his ministry is very searching.
Historical information is only part of MB. The doctrine, ministry and poetry sections are intended
As to your paper "Who is the Greatest?", while there may be some points which, to me at least, would require clarification, I can generally
agree with it.
The whole matter of the disciples' insensitivity to the Lord's
predictions of His suffering, death and resurrection,
There is no question but that the Lord Jesus should always have the
first place and that His lowly and self sacrificing service showed what
true greatness is.
I will be glad to hear from you at any time, and will be watching the
development of "Context".
Yours in the Lord Jesus, Gordon.
To: Leonard Layne
Dear Leonard,
Yours in our Lord, Gordon.
From: Leonard Layne
Thanks! I just finished an essay "To Whom do you Pray?". Let me know if you like it.
Leonard.
To: Leonard Layne
Dear Leonard, But first, from my conversion, I have never doubted the rightness of
addressing the Lord Jesus and have been confirmed in it both from the
Scriptures and by practice …
Leonard, your essay has raised some important points. This reply will
therefore be posted on the My Answer 1 page where it will hopefully receive wider attention than in the "Mailbox".
Thank you for your inquiry. May the Lord Jesus bless you.
Yours in Him, Gordon.
To: Didier Lebeau
Dear Didier, Sadly, I'm not aware of any study of "J. N. Darby's moves and stays
in France".
If you don't have his "Letters", they can be obtained from Kingston
Bible Trust – Guests: Site News: Bible and Books.
I trust the above may be of some help in your search. If you do compile any data, I would be very interested to see it and also to hear how you
make out.
Thanks again for visiting. Please feel free to share any personal
experiences or exercises for the interest of other guests.
In our Lord Jesus, Gordon.

Dear Peter,
With you we long for His return:
Hymn 421: 2 (1973)
It would be of interest to know something of your experience since
1960. Keep in touch.

Merci beaucoup pour la note que vous m'avez ecrite. C'est dommage que je ne
puisse traduire mon site moi-meme, car je suis Canadien-anglophone.

To: Jason Limbaugh
Dear Jason, Like yourself, a number of our guests reach us through searching for information and ministry of "Stoney, Coates, and Mackintosh" samples of which they have come across in various places.
All the ministry of JBS and CAC is in print and available from Kingston Bible Trust.
Thanks for the reference to ——. I have checked this out thoroughly but as it does not agree with MB's Site Standards, and because of the greater availability of ministry as noted above, it will not be listed on MB.
Thanks again. Yours in the Lord, Gordon.
From: Jason Limbaugh
Gordon,
Blessings!! I will surely continue to make use of your site!!

I have visited "My Brethren". Very interesting. I especially appreciated the biographical material, much of it which is not commonly available.

I'm glad you enjoyed the biographical sketches. Paul's words confirm
the value of such knowledge.

On August 24, 1999, you wrote, "I enjoyed the article on J. B. Stoney. I used to have a tract by him, "Our Life and Associations Here", but I gave it away. I am looking for a replacement if you could find it".

Thank you for sharing your painful experience. Though many years have
past, the pain remains – as we know – but Christ can and does give the needed comfort.

Dear Beverly,
Welcome to 'My Brethren'. I hope you will return and explore the wealth
of good ministry on MB.
I will try to be as frank in my reply as you have been in asking "about the stand of this site about the original split – open/closed", which may be a 'touchstone' for you …
Because your question may be of general interest my reply will be posted in Guests: My Answer 2.
Yours in our Lord Jesus, Gordon.
To: Terry and Rachel Lock
Dear Terry and Rachel,
We regret that we didn't have opportunity to meet your father and
mother personally but have often heard of them over the years.
Regarding CD's:
Check Site News: Bulletins and KBT Report from time to time for current news.
Check Site News: Bibles and Books for further details re
I hope the above is of help. Do visit MB again. I'll be glad to hear from you at any time.
