God bless, I am so happy to see a website devoted to linking the 'Brethren' – I accepted the Lord as my Saviour in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland on August 17, 1952. I was led to the Lord in a High School music room by Jim Gallacher, later Dr. James Gallacher, and attended Abbot's Hall from that time on for many years – the Open Brethren meeting place – in Dunfermline, the town of King Robert the Bruce and Queen Margaret of Scotland.

Praise the Lord my Brother and Sister in Christ. Bill Reid.

Why is it that at Assemblies, in order to partake of the emblems, one must be accepted into fellowship? Is this not a direct commandment from Christ Himself that we "partake as often as we are together", the new covenant?

Dear brother,
I am among brethren in San Francisco (Palmetto meeting room) who were once associated with the Taylor brethren.

My wife and I grew up among open brethren – my father is a "laboring brother" in lower British Columbia.

I find your site very interesting.

Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your kind comments on my J.N.D. biography.

You are incorrect to say "Pages 17-18 of chapter one, 'Beginnings', surprised me as being speculative and in the form of a novel".

Thank you once again, Max.

See my reply in the "Mailbox". Both the above email and my reply are also in Biography: J. N. Darby: Biography M.S.W..
